Traditional Tibet Tibetan Monastery Copper Horn Trumpet. 20" in length. In the fall of 1964, an associate gained access to the Tibetan region Nyingchi. On the journey, 7 items were acquired and exported from the pastoral areas of Tibetan herders.

This Copper Horn Trumpet is the traditional Buddhist ensemble. The instrument would call monks to worship and would also be used to invoke water and rain. It's a sign of good luck and stands for the absence of all evil as an attribute, symbolizing the glory of all holy men. Said to hold magical properties. Highly detailed.
